Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream- Review and lip swatches

It’s not lipstick nor is it gloss. It’s like nothing that you have experienced before. It’s lipstick that goes on silky but looks soft matte.

Alright, pals! As you may have guessed by the title, today’s post is going to be a beauty related post. Amongst all beauty products, lipsticks have to be my absolute favourite things! I’m a true believer in the term- Lipstick is always good idea. So much so, I’m always hoarding on them, any chance I get. On most days, I am in favour of some regular drugstore brands but every now and then, I like to explore and find out something new.
When it comes to lip products, it is okay to look for affordable options, but do so with caution. You can always check reviews online if you find a new product in the market which you want to try, so you will know if it’s safe to use or not. Moving on to today’s post, I am going to review a lipstick range which I totally adore, the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream. I discovered them while I was shopping for makeup & skincare products at Beauty Palace in Crawford Market area, and I am obsessed with these.
Since I am of the dry skin type, and wear matte lip products on most days at my workplace, I tend to use a lip balm underneath every time. I would recommend using a lip balm underneath Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream as well just to give you a bit of moisture, which will be needed when applying a matte formula. The lipsticks come in a compact & travel friendly packaging and carry 6.5 grams of product. It has a mildly sweet scent, which I like and it is buttery smooth when applied on the lips. The applicator is a doe foot sponge, which is easy to apply the product. The colours are highly pigmented and have a smooth application. You may need to coat this product twice to make it look better on the lips, but no worries, as this product dries quickly once applied. It looks like satin finish when applied, but is flat out matte when dry
I’ve swatched the shades- 55, 35, 01 & 10 in today’s review as each one is unique in shade. Scroll down the images to see the colours on my lip.
The 4 shades I am reviewing:

55- A mauve brown, perfect for everyday nude. It is my go to shade for workplace.
35- A bright popping pink colour. Perfect for festive occasions & day wear.
01-   An orange toned red colour. A day wear staple.
10- Deep red, my most favourite of them all. It’s for those glamorous occasions at night time. It’s a really striking colour, perfect, if you’re going for a bold lip.

Now that you’re familiar with what the product really looks like, let’s go through the pros and cons of the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams, shall we?
Very affordable
Wide range of shades
Very good formula
Quick drying
High pigmentations
Travel friendly
Goes well with Indian skin tones
Not easily available in stores
Every shade may not be available online
Lasts about 3-4 hours

Hope you liked my review on the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams. Would I purchase it again & again? Hell, yes I would! A little trivia for you, I have even used it as a blush once and it didn’t disappoint! Feel free to ask me anything about this product in the comment section below.
