Wild and wanted

It's the weekend, folks! And we all know what that means… wink, wink! At least for me, weekend means catching forty winks before Monday hits. It's ridiculous how two days can pass by so fast! Therefore, I'm planning to make the most of my time by doing something wild.

Just kidding!

It's summertime, which to many means it's time to ditch those winter jackets and hoodies. But is it, though? Not quite. Trend forecast predicts hooded sweatshirts as a style staple for summer season. More so the crop type, owing to the warm weather. Major retail brands like Forever21, H&M, Zara to name a few, are already stocked with a variety of cropped hooded sweatshirts. The best kind from this style are the ones with slogan on them. “No chill”, “bae”, “varsity” being the common theme for slogans.
But how does one style this trend as an everyday wear? Don't worry, I've got you covered. The sweatshirt which I've chosen to style today is the one I got from a new brand called Wild Child, launched by renowned designers Falguni and Shane Peacock. The collection is exclusively available at Shoppers Stop and houses a variety of affordable party wear and casual chic apparels. The hooded sweatshirt is white with the slogan “wild and wanted” printed on the sleeve. The best way to style a sweatshirt of any kind would be to wear it with a pair of leggings and sneakers, and that's how I've styled my look today. Have a look at the snaps below and let me know your thoughts on this trend.

  1. Aren't these clothes and fashion a bit overdone this year? Everybody seems to be following the picture perfect Instagram trend. I am not hating but can we not see any realness behind this all?
