New-trals VS Neutrals palette
New-Trals are the new NEUTRALS. Upgrade your new natural eye looks with the new generation of natural shades.
Available at Nykaa // Amazon // Jabong

How’s it going, my sweet buttercups? Today’s post is a review on one of the drugstore eyeshadow palettes from one of the most affordable brands in makeup- Makeup Revolution London. I was in need of an eyeshadow palette which had a good selection in warm tones and I was so glad I could find this! The palette is almost always sold out online and I had to wait for Nykaa to notify me when it came back in stock so I could get my hands on one!
New-trals VS Neutrals palette consists of 16 shades of eye shadows & has a mix of matte, shimmery and slightly shimmery options. The palette itself is made of plastic & has a black matte lid and a glossy case which contains the eyeshadows. There is also a double ended eyeshadow brush that comes in the palette, which is mentioned in the (outer) packaging.

Let’s move on to the shades, shall we? Starting from the top row on the palette:
1.       Bias: It’s a pearl white colour, perfect for the brow area and can also be used in the inner corner.
2.       Neutral: The name says it all; it’s a flat out matte beige shade with a mauve tone to it.
3.       Personal: A shimmery peach shade, perfect for a day time look on the lid.
4.       Vogue: It’s another shimmer shade in a coral tone. Looks pretty in itself & when blended with Personal.
5.       Trend: It’s a matte shade in a burnt orange tone. One of my favourite shades in the palette.
6.       New-tral: Is a mute red colour with slight shimmer.
7.       Tone: A dark red matte shade. Love this colour too.
8.       Custom: It’s also a matte brown shade which has a grey undertone.
9.       Cool: It’s a matte counterpart of Bias shade. Off white in colour.
10.   Style: Light pink shade, very shimmery and I love to use it by spraying my brush with Makeup Revolution’s setting spray before applying it to my lid.
11.   Partial: Pink shimmery shade. It is one of my favourite shimmer shade in this palette.
12.   Mode: Beautiful golden shade. One of the best shimmers in this palette & I always use it by spraying my brush with Makeup Revolution’s setting spray before applying it to my lid.
13.   Adapt: It’s a mauve brown shade but it looks grey when applied to the lid. It’s a matte shade.
14.   Buff: A taupe shade in shimmer. However, the shimmer is toned down in this one.
15.   Suit: It’s a grey shade with slight shimmers.
16.   Strong: It is a dark brown slightly shimery shade with a bit of grey added to it. Really great to give that smokey look.

Now that you know what kind of shades the palette has to offer, let’s look at a list of pros & cons to understand if the palette is really worth having in your vanity.
Very affordable.
Wide selection of shades- both matte & shimmery.
Can be used to create day, night & party looks.
Pigmentation is good in most shades.
Almost no fallout.

Haute Tropic

Hey, loves! Hope your week’s going well. Summer has  finally set in, with temperatures rising at incredible speed. So I encourage all fashionistas to bring out those crop tops, shorts and skirts because things are going to get real haute here(pun intended)!
In case you haven't guessed, today's post is featuring a cute crop top in tropical print. I simply adore tropical prints as they instantly add a fresh look to any outfit. And they are a style must have for summer season. So are crop tops. But when it comes to crop tops, people always seem to need a little bit of encouragement. There is a notion amongst people that for some reason, crop tops can only be worn if you have a flat stomach. And that is so not true. And hopefully today's post should bust that myth.
The crop top I'm wearing is white in colour with cut outs at the waist area and it has tropical prints as well. The prints were the first thing that caught my eye as I was shopping around at the Forever21 store.and since the top is in white, I thought of pairing it with white skinny jeans to add to the look. I also accessorized my look with a pair of dangling earrings, a black hat and a black sling bag. I wore strappy black wedge heels to complete this look. Have a look at the pictures below and let me know what you think about this summer look!

Available at Amazon // Flipkart

Hey, beauties! How has the week been for you guys? I've been wanting to something different on my blog for quite some time now, something that I love learning about and discovering new things in. And that is beauty blogging. I'm an avid makeup fanatic, which is primarily because of my artistic flair. Hence, today's post is going to be a review about the one makeup product that adore- mascara!
I had been hunting for a good mascara ever since my L'Oréal one had dried up. The only problem was that I really wanted something which was travel friendly. And I'm so glad Sephora India has the perfect mascara for my needs- Benefit They're Real! Mascara Deluxe Travel Size. The entire bottle is 3 inches in length so you can stash it in your purse for a quick fix. It's also washable and smudgeproof, which I'm happy with. But the main feature of this mascara is how dramatic it makes your lashes look- almost as if you've put falsies! Have a look at the pictures below and check it out!

Travel friendly and good packaging.
Wand is really good
Volumises and lengthens
Easy to wash off

Pricing is on higher side
Not available easily

I think it's a really good product, perfect for those who do not want the hassle of false lashes. I love it!

My eyes without the mascara:

Both lashes with the mascara:
I also clicked a close-up of the lashes one day with my phone camera after coating it multiple times, the effect is super dramatic:

Wild and wanted

It's the weekend, folks! And we all know what that means… wink, wink! At least for me, weekend means catching forty winks before Monday hits. It's ridiculous how two days can pass by so fast! Therefore, I'm planning to make the most of my time by doing something wild.

Just kidding!

It's summertime, which to many means it's time to ditch those winter jackets and hoodies. But is it, though? Not quite. Trend forecast predicts hooded sweatshirts as a style staple for summer season. More so the crop type, owing to the warm weather. Major retail brands like Forever21, H&M, Zara to name a few, are already stocked with a variety of cropped hooded sweatshirts. The best kind from this style are the ones with slogan on them. “No chill”, “bae”, “varsity” being the common theme for slogans.
But how does one style this trend as an everyday wear? Don't worry, I've got you covered. The sweatshirt which I've chosen to style today is the one I got from a new brand called Wild Child, launched by renowned designers Falguni and Shane Peacock. The collection is exclusively available at Shoppers Stop and houses a variety of affordable party wear and casual chic apparels. The hooded sweatshirt is white with the slogan “wild and wanted” printed on the sleeve. The best way to style a sweatshirt of any kind would be to wear it with a pair of leggings and sneakers, and that's how I've styled my look today. Have a look at the snaps below and let me know your thoughts on this trend.

Hello, Spring!

It’s finally that colourful time of the year which everyone loves- Spring! And what better way to welcome it than wearing your favourite spring time dresses? I’ve read somewhere that Spring is the nature’s way of saying “let’s party”! So, I’ve decided to bring out the brightest colours in my wardrobe to start it off with.
Off shoulder is still one trend that is currently dominating the runways and spring is the perfect time to wear it! Hence, the outfit I will be featuring in today’s post an off shoulder mini dress in blue. Let me tell you, blue is the most favoured colour of this season. Be it plain or plaid, gingham or stripes, blue is seen everywhere these days! And what makes blue so popular is that it can be easily paired with warm toned (summer) colours such as yellows, corals or pinks. Take a look at my outfit pictures to see what I’m talking about!

I hope you liked this look. Feel free to comment what your favourite trend is to try out for spring and I will see you in my next post!
