The Newest Wrinkle

Feminity with an edge

Hey there, lovelies! How's the year treating you? I know it's been forever since I've done a fashion post and it's all because I was prepping up my spring wardrobe for you guys! The trends are definitely changing for the better with a lot of feminine styles coming to the fore so it's best to invest in some flirty ruffles, bell sleeves and off shoulder type of clothing.

For people who love to stick to their roots while keeping up with trends, it might sound tricky to try ruffles or frills when your actual style is leather and ripped denims. But let me tell you, there is a solution for that too, because when it comes to fashion, there are no rules! This is what inspired me to create my next blog post- pairing feminine style with edgy pieces.

For this post, I've chosen to highlight a midi length pleated skirt. Pleated skirts are the flavour of the season and are quite versatile. You can dress them up with a pairing them up with a tee and a statement necklace, or go for something casual like a loose sweater. You can also wear a collared shirt with a pleated skirt for a formal look. Really, the options are endless! I've worn mine with a lace bodysuit and a leather jacket, which gives an edge to my look. I've completed my look with lace up heels and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Scroll down below to have a look!

So guys, what do you think? Let me know your favourite trend which you would like to try this season and if there's any other trend you want me to try out next! Till then, stay tuned for my next post!
