It’s been a blast of an year and I cannot believe the numerous number of things I’ve accomplished! Most important of those things will have to be the launch of my blog- Style and Macarons (SAM, for short) which happened this year. And I would like to thank all the people who followed & supported my journey till today. I am so happy to be moving on to the New Year that is 2017 with all of you lovely people!
You didn’t think I would be ending 2016 without an outfit post, did you? I decided to do something different, which is indoor shooting at night. For this post, I decided to wear a red dress       underneath which I wore a lace bodysuit (last worn here). To add glam to this look, I accessorized it with a gold choker necklace, gold cuffs and strappy stilettos. Have a look below and let me know your thoughts on a night time shoot!

Happy Holidays!

Greetings of the season, everyone! It’s finally Christmas time and my head just keeps playing carols on a loop. Does yours too? I have always been fascinated by Christmas time and the joyful spirit that it brings. It all started when I watched Home Alone movie series as a child, and it continued through my convent school years. And that is why I decided to do a fun and festive shoot for the holiday season.
The outfit I decided to wear is warm and cosy with a white sweater and a red skirt. The sweater is fluffy and extremely soft to touch, and I absolutely love the texture. The skirt is a rust red colour with scallop hem and makes for a perfect festive wear. I chose to wear them with black tights and ankle length boots. I also accessorised with reindeer horns & a santa hat (lol)! Scroll down below and join me in the festivities! Merrrrry Christmas!

Fashion fix for warm winters- Olive Jumpsuit

on
12/17/16
Winter has commenced & with it brings warm cocoas, cosy sweaters and ankle to knee length boots. But for those in Mumbai, where I stay, it is mostly summer all year. During winters the nights get cooler but during the daytime, it’s sweltering! Hence, I wanted to invest in some outfits that suit the weather while maintaining the feel of the season. That’s when I decided to check the online scene and see if I find anything which suits my requirements.
Ultimately, I stumbled upon a website called Stalkbuylove, an online shopping site. I was really happy with the options I saw and an olive jumpsuit stood out in particular. It was a really chic style, perfect for the weather and the olive colour is apt for fall/winter season too! The best part about it is the fit & for a curvy girl like me, fit of a garment is paramount.
The main feature of the jumpsuit is that it has the low neckline, which plunges right till the naval. Hence, I decided to team it with a bodysuit which has a lace hem at the neckline. I’m quite pleased with how well it looked under the jumpsuit. To bring the look together, I paired it with a sling bag, a gold cuff and strappy wedges. Have a look at the outfit and I would love to know what you think!

Rigo x SAM

How are you, my fashion fanatics! It’s been long since I’ve done a blog post and I hope you haven’t missed me too much. Today’s blog post is a special one as it is a collaboration with one of the coolest brands in town- RIGO. What makes this brand so cool is that it is a youth online fashion brand with super affordable styles and that are designed & made in India!
Keeping up with trends isn’t easy, but that’s no problem with Rigo, as they add new styles daily on their website: http://www.rigo.in/collection/new-arrivals. And that is why I was so thrilled when they chose to associate with Style & Macarons (SAM, for short) to feature the latest trend of the season- the midi length dress. A midi length dress is essentially a dress which is knee to calf length & a lot of this style is being seen nowadays in the fashion forum.
The dress featured in today’s post is a black knee length casual dress with folded sleeve made of jersey material. The quality of the fabric is very good and it is really soft. I was happy with the fit of the dress, too. I chose to pair the dress with white sneakers, white clutch, gold bracelet & a necklace. I can see myself wearing this look for most casual outings, brunch or meet up with friends! Scroll down below to see what the outfit looks like.
